Therapist in Long Beach

Hey, I’m Glad You’re Here.

Hi, I’m Christina Kee, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Long Beach, California. I specialize in supporting teens, young adults, and adults who are experiencing anxiety. I especially enjoy working with those who have struggled with their self-worth, have a tendency to people please, or maybe even feel pressure to be perfect.

In my practice, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their feelings openly. Together, we work toward finding tools that work to build confidence, manage negative thoughts, and build overall resiliency.

Many of my clients describe me as empathic, supportive, and insightful. Throughout therapy, they have also stated they have felt like they had tools and techniques to help them and built greater confidence.

As a first generation Latina, I am also someone who is highly understanding of how culture and community play a role in our life experiences. As an ally of the LGBTQ+ community I have also helped many teens navigate how to comfortably express themselves.

“Christina is a remarkable therapist. She is kind, attentive, empathetic, and accommodating. It is clear that she is dedicated to her clients and wants them to succeed. It’s been a privilege and pleasure to work with her.”

“Christina has been a great help! She really listens and helped me see things I didn’t realize before; or helped me formulate my thoughts so that I could find better ways to be mindful and understand myself. Thanks, Christina! ”

“I have had the privilege of working with Christina Kee for 2 to 3 years, and I can honestly say that the experience has been so transformative. From our very first session, I felt understood and supported, which allowed me to open up and explore personal challenges in a safe, non-judgmental space. Christina has a remarkable ability to listen deeply, offer insightful feedback, and provide practical tools for managing life's difficulties. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and empathetic therapist.”

“She is very compassionate and kind. She always knows what to say. I’ve seen her for a bit less than a year now and have been able to discuss a variety of stressors. I like to think she has helped me grow! Logistics wise I also like her because she is available in the evenings and virtually which is the only way I’d be able to do therapy. She is also flexible if I need to move around my appointment. Quite happy I found her!"

“My experience with Christina has been really positive. She has taught me the tools to better understand my anxiety, learn techniques to stay present and increase my self acceptance which has improved my overall mental health. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I value having a safe space to express myself and work on being more true to who I am.”

Y.S.

“Christina was the first therapist I'd worked with and she sets a high bar! She was extremely supportive and empathetic, while also not being afraid of being honest and thoughtful. Highly, highly recommended!”
